Paragliding in Sarangkot

In Nepal, there are lots of places suitable for paragliding but Sarangkot (1592m) in Pokhara is the best of among them all. Don’t miss sky-high around Lake of Pokhara and the Lap of Annapurna with Lammergeyer eagles or huge Gryphon vultures to guide the way! A short trip will take you over some of the best scenery on the earth, as you share skies with eagles, kites, Himalayan griffin vultures, and float over towns, temples, monasteries, lakes, and jungle, with a fantastic view of the magnificent Himalaya. We would go for at least 30 to 45-minute flight which would provide an existing experience that would treasure for the rest of life.

October to April is the best period for paragliding in Pokhara. This is one of the best ways to view Pokhara and its Himalayan panorama by a short flying from Sarangkot. While on the flight, you can see the glory of Annapurna range and lovely landscape around Pokhara valley. Certainly, the flight gives anyone thrills with a great photographic opportunity.

Tandem flying includes a passenger flying with a pilot. Both have separate harnesses that are attached to each other and the wing. Paragliding harnesses are made for comfort and safety; they sense more like an armchair. Because Paraglider can foot launch and gently foot land again and are very portable we can take them anywhere and fly from most mountains in Nepal.
