Mustang lies in the Dhaulagiri zone, whose headquarter is Jomsom. It is as ancient ruled out kingdom. Transportation and Things to do
We can get there through airplane which goes to Jomsom. And from Jomsom, we can go there in jeep. Horses are also use as the means of transportation.
This region has the high traditions and cultural values of Himalayas. The major trekking routes in the lower mustang are Annapurna Circuit, Thak Sat Sae along with the most amazing views of high peaks, forests, vegetations. The major religions followed here are mostly Hinduism and Buddhism. The trek highest point is Muktinath where large numbers of visitors visits with high religious values. Also, the kali Gandaki gully is famous trek route from Pokhara to Muktinath which lies in the Annapurna Conservation Area.
