Pisang, a VDC lies in Manang District which is in the Gandaki zone. This village is situated in the Marshyangdi river. On its south there is Pisang peak. And on its north, there is Annapurna II as well as in the west there is Paungda Danda. Pisang village is famous trekking for Annapurna region and Pisang peak. Also, we can visit the famous Muktinath temple in the trek to Manang.
We can see the amazing views of Annapurna Peaks, Dhaulagiri and other peaks. This trek provides the beautiful Jomsom valley. People usually fly to Pokhara from Jomsom. It is one of the best places among the trekkers. This place shows the amazing view of Nepali Himalayan regions. The scenes of mountains, cultures of Himalayas are the major points for the center of attraction. We can also visit Pisang from Annapurna circuit by jeep or through trekking. The roads there are mainly off-roads and windy turns.
This village consists of Gurung and Manangi culture. There is also the facility of homestay and guesthouses for visitors. We can also see the Buddha statue and prayer flags in lower part of this valley. We can also see the beautiful sunrise with peaks. There we can also see the snows that depends on which weather we travel to there. There is also the suspension bridge that get towards this valley. The waterfall flowing to Marshyangdi river is also famous there. If you are a non- Nepali traveler then you should carry all your permits. There is a checking point.
